Once in a while, when I think there is no other good way to explain a problem or circumstance, someone does it perfectly, and I say to myself, "A) Why didn't I think of putting it this way, and B) Why isn't everyone in the country talking about this right now?" Such a moment just happened when I found this item by Tim Wise in which he speculates, with totally reasonably examples, on how Americans might view the teabagger movement differently if it consisted of black people (or Arabs) instead of white right-wing douchebags.
