I'm annoyed with myself for being goaded into even writing this post. I don't really have time to respond to every piece of evil dumbassity that I encounter every day. But here it is: Joseph Farah, some hitherto unknown (to me) wingnut douchebag columnist on the dumbass piece-of-shit website World Net Daily wrote a piece in which he uses the horrific details of the 1999 rape/murder of 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising as device to set up an attack on the "queer agenda" and on the concept of hate crimes. And yet another an attack on Matthew Shepard. You see, Jesse Dirkhising was not regarded as a hate crime victim (because he wasn't gay, and Farah knows that for a fact somehow?), whilst the evil Matt Shepard was and has since been "sainted" by the "queer agenda." This has to be a seriously twisted, bitter, fucked up and miserable man who would write an article in which he lovingly details the horror of one boy's murder in order to minimize and demean the horror of another boy's murder, all for the sake of trying to score a moronic political point. Joseph Farah is, for this reason, an official Piece of Shit, and he should be ashamed of himself. Oh, and you know what else? The Matthew Shepard Act was signed into law a couple weeks ago, so the wingnuts can go fuck themselves like the wrong-side-of-history losers that they are.
I'm not linking to Farah's article because I won't taint my blog by opening a direct doorway into such a toilet. If you really want to see what he said, you can probably glean some keywords from this post and look it up for yourself.
(By the way, I only know about this because the @lgbtlife bot on Twitter tweeted a link to it, demonstrating the weaknesses of letting a bot do your business for you).
